How do I work as your advisor and coach?
We will work in a safe and confidential discovery space where you can experiment, make sense of your situation in new ways, and decide what action to take. I will typically not provide the answers or decisions but set up a framework for you and ask questions that help you find the answers and solutions within yourself. There is no template; your situation is unique, and I will tailor our work to fit you.
When should I engage with a coach and advisor?
You can start at any stage of your life and with any level of clarity about where you want to go. The more senior you are, the more I recommend that you work with an external professional because your organization will only tell you a part of what you need to hear to progress. Strengthening your strategic thinking and optimizing your behavior can profoundly impact your performance.
Who can benefit from working with me?
My international experience and background make me a good fit for business people in various businesses or organizations that manage and motivate people. I'm also a good counselor for people living and working abroad. I have experience going through burnout, so I can also help you get on track when life and business are challenging.
How do we get started?
We will start with a 25-minute introduction call, getting to know each other and discussing your topic. If there is a strong mutual fit and you wish to continue, we will agree on a plan that will be right for your goals. I will initially suggest the number of sessions that will benefit you, along with my recommendations on how to get the most out of every session, any preparation work that may be needed, optimal format, and investment. Sessions can occur in person in Munich, where I have office space, or virtually if you are based elsewhere.
Why do I find my work fulfilling?
When going through a challenging time in my personal and professional life, my initial approach was to hide and not share what I was dealing with. Opening up, I realized that others also try to find all the solutions independently. It was through work with external professionals that my progress accelerated, and I emerged from my struggle stronger and with more appreciation for my professional and personal life. This is my way to give back and let others benefit from my experience and views about life—the ups and downs.
